ORIONSTAR LUCKIBOT AUTO RECHARGING - A.I. Controlled Intelligent Delivery Robot for Hospitality and Service Environments With Self-Charging Dock
The LuckiBot Auto-Recharging retains all the features that make LuckiBot reliable service robot while eliminating the final manual task: charging. When paired with a dedicated charging station, the robot automatically returns to its dock whenever the battery level becomes low and recharges itself. There is no need for staff to connect it manually, enabling continuous, round-the-clock service with minimal human intervention.
Like the Standard model, it features a six-microphone array with 360-degree sound-source localisation and advanced Visual SLAM navigation for safe and precise movement through complex environments. Thanks to its autonomous energy-management system, however, the Auto-Recharging version provides a genuine “set-and-forget” operating model. It maximises availability, minimises staff workload and represents a smarter choice for restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, offices and retail environments that require continuous, largely unattended service.
The OrionStar LuckiBot is an autonomous AI delivery robot designed to transport food, beverages, equipment and other light loads while also performing customer-guidance, promotional and interactive functions. It offers an efficient solution primarily for restaurants, hotels and hospitality venues, but can also be deployed in supermarkets, offices, healthcare facilities, nursing homes and manufacturing environments.
The robot can be configured with three or, where required, four transport trays. Each tray can carry up to 10 kg, providing a maximum total payload of 40 kg. The 50 × 43 cm trays allow substantial quantities of food, beverages or equipment to be transported simultaneously, while the robot can serve up to four separate tables during a single delivery cycle. In high-traffic restaurants, it can complete more than 400 deliveries per day, significantly reducing the physical workload of service staff and allowing them to devote more time to personal guest interaction.
Its navigation system combines LiDAR, RGBD depth cameras, visual localisation, odometry and IMU data to deliver accurate route planning and safe obstacle avoidance, even in busy environments. The system rapidly detects small obstacles and can stop the robot within approximately 0.5 seconds when a potential hazard is identified. Its multi-link, self-levelling suspension system keeps the trays stable on uneven or slippery floors, which is particularly important when transporting food and beverages safely.
Under typical operating conditions, LuckiBot can operate for up to 10 hours on a single charge, making it suitable for a full working shift. Its 10.1-inch Full HD display, six-microphone audio system and support for more than 30 languages enable the robot to welcome guests, present special offers, provide directions and serve as an active mobile promotional platform. In addition to delivering items, it can assist with collecting used tableware from multiple tables. LuckiBot therefore improves operational efficiency, reduces dependence on manual carrying tasks and contributes to a more modern and engaging guest experience.
