A compact vacuum-operated gripper
If you want to automate industrial processes using robotic arms, a gripping end tool is an essential accessory. To meet this need, Robotiq has designed a range of gripping end tools to meet different needs.
The Epick range has a special place in their range of products, which includes vacuum-operated end tools that do not require a separate vacuum source (pump) to operate, and can therefore be used as a compact unit with the robot arm.
Compact design, easy handling
The EPick attaches to the wrist of the cobot (collaborative robotic arm, e.g. Dobot Cobot CR10) and is easy to use thanks to its integrated vacuum source.
Its operation is based on the Plug&Play method, i.e. after connecting and plugging in the tool, the Dobot system automatically recognises the tool and can be used immediately to carry out the process.
Compatibility and extensibility
The EPick mounts directly to the Robotiq wrist camera and to the standard connector of Robotiq products. The high quality vacuum generator has a compact manifold for connecting the suction hose system. The bracket and unique air nozzles allow full customization with standard G 1/4 thread suction cups.
